Six athletes from the Da-Tor/Isb team competed on May 1 in Verona at the Granfondo Luca Avesani Cycling Marathon, a premier event for cycling enthusiasts featuring two courses of 85 km and 115 km, as well as serving as a stage of the Zero Wind Show circuit. An event that represents a major sporting and participatory occasion in the region and attracts the attention of many cyclists from across the country.
On the shorter route (1,550 m cumulative elevation gain), Christian Dallago performed very well, finishing second in the overall standings. A very strong performance by Massimo Taverna (44th), who placed third in the Gentlemen A category. The others: 384th Franco Divitini (22nd in Gentlemen A) and 473rd Renato Mainetti (37th in Gentlemen A).
In the long race (2,250 m cumulative elevation gain), Paolo Montini had a strong result (46th overall), finishing third in the Gentlemen A category. Dario Fusato also competed (189th), placing 18th in the Gentlemen B category.
