10 Nov SPAIN NATIONAL HOCKEY TEAM IN WSG QUARTER-FINAL
The Spanish hockey team advances steadily to the quarterfinals of the World Skate Games of Argentina 2022.
The group stage has ended and Spain achieves the second position after winning overwhelmingly to the selection of Mozambique and Angola. France will be the rival team in the semifinals to be played on November 10 at 9:00 p.m. (peninsular time).
The last two clashes have been decided with clear results. The match played against Mozambique ended with a bulky 13-2 for ours. The great performance of the Spaniards made the Africans have no option to believe in the comeback. In the first minutes of the match the ambassador of ISB Sport Dava Torres signed the first goal after a rebound of the goalkeeper of Mozambique. Then, goals began to fall steadily, the scorers of the Spanish Hockey Team were Igna Alabart and Pau Bargalló both with three goals. The ISB Sport ambassador and captain of Deportivo Liceo ended the match with two goals.
The last match of the group stage was against the Angola national team. The Spaniards also signed a resounding victory that ended with a 1-5 and classified the Spanish Hockey Team in second place in group B, which gives them the tickets to play the semifinal against France. In this match the top scorer was Nil Roca with 2 goals.
We are already looking forward to seeing the hockey semi-finals at the World Skate Games and hope that the Spanish National Team and the ISB Sport ambassadors who play in it will bring the title home at the end of the competition.
