15 Nov SPANISH SKATING TRIUMPHS IN THE WSG WITH ISB SPORT
Spain has 40 medals in the World Skate Games 2022, being the best result obtained in the skating world championship in its history.
The Spanish competitors have performed very well in the WSG 2022 adding to their record 15 gold, 12 silver and 13 bronze medals. These medals have been achieved in various disciplines where the representatives of Team Spain have made fantastic performances.
The representatives of ISB Sport have been accomplices of this historic performance of the selection helping to increase the total medals achieved. Ambassador Carla Martín won the gold medal in the discipline of VERT, thus being one of the youngest world champions in this category. The players of the Women’s Inline Skating Team also rose as world champions getting the gold medal against the French team, the captain and ambassador of ISB Sport Vega Muñoz was in charge of lifting the precious trophy for the Spaniards. Patxi Peula, ambassador of ISB Sport, got a second place in the 10,000m score/elimination event with which he got an important silver medal. Finally, the CPA Girona won a bronze medal in the category of Show in figure skating with its “Sinapsis”.
With these 40 medals and the impressive performances of the ISB Sport ambassadors, the WSG 2022 World Skating Championship in Argentina is closed. From ISB Sport we are already looking forward to the next world championship to be able to enjoy and help with the ISB bearings to the Spanish representatives in the competition.
