SARAH PALFRADER, ITALIAN AND LOMBARDY CHAMPION IN MOUNTAIN BIKING

It was a great weekend for TEAM DA-TOR ISB, which once again excelled in various cycling disciplines with impressive results in both road racing and mountain biking.

The star of the show was Sarah Palfrader, who was crowned Italian champion and Lombardy regional champion in the mountain biking category. The rider delivered a magnificent performance on the Rusin Valdidentro-Cancano climb (Sondrio), a 9.3-kilometer race with 650 meters of elevation gain that included the iconic 21 hairpin turns leading to the town of Cancano.

Palfrader finished second overall in the women’s category and claimed both the national and regional titles in the W5 category. Elisa Colombo also stood out in the women’s competition, finishing fourth in the EWS category.

In the men’s category, Danilo Bottoni was the team’s top performer, finishing 39th overall and seventh in the Elite Master 19/29 category. Christian Martinelli finished very close behind, placing 41st overall and fifth in Master 3 (40–44), a result that also allowed him to win the Lombardy regional title. Lorenzo Illini also made it to the podium, placing third in Master 6 (55–59), and likewise securing the regional championship in that category.
