KAWASAKI WORLD SSP RESULTS AT ASSEN

Kawasaki WorldSSP Team Makes Progress at Assen with Alcoba and Aegerter Leading the Way

The Kawasaki WorldSSP Team completed a demanding weekend at the TT Circuit Assen (April 19), in a round marked by close competition on the track and changing conditions that put both riders and teams to the test. Jeremy Alcoba and Dominique Aegerter were tasked with defending the team’s colors in the WorldSSP category, delivering a weekend of solid work and steady progress.

From free practice onward, both riders showed positive progress, focused on finding the best setup for a track as technical and fluid as Assen. Superpole confirmed this trend, with very close lap times on an extremely competitive grid.

Race 1: Consistency in a Very Close Group

The first race was contested at a very high pace with numerous riders battling in a tight group. Both Alcoba and Aegerter stayed in the fight, managing a complex race where every detail made a difference. The main objective was to consolidate their feel for the bike, maintain a competitive pace, and gather key information for the rest of the weekend.

Race 2: Adapting to Changing Conditions

The second race was marked by uncertain weather conditions, forcing riders to make important strategic decisions before the start. Under these circumstances, Alcoba and Aegerter once again demonstrated their ability to adapt, tackling a race that was demanding both technically and physically.

Despite the interruptions and the complexity of the race, both riders delivered a performance focused on consistency and learning—fundamental elements in a category as competitive as WorldSSP.

Weekend Summary

The stop at Assen leaves the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team with a positive outlook as they continue to work on developing the bike and helping their riders adapt to each circuit. Both Jeremy Alcoba and Dominique Aegerter continue to gain experience and consolidate their performance within an increasingly competitive field.
